5 to 6 inches of rain fell across portions of Richland county. On top of several days of heavy rains, lift stations could not keep up with the water, resulting in some basement flooding. Across the county, 40 roads and 20 bridges were damaged by flooding, with damages estimated at 1 million. Northern portions of the county were hit the hardest.
