Widespread rainfall of 3 to 6 inches during severe thunderstorms which produced flash flooding in these counties also ended up causing longer term river flooding. Many rivers reached levels 2 to 7 feet over flood stage and remained above bankful for anywhere from one to eleven days. Some residences were impacted but this did cause widespread flooding of uncultivated agricultural lands.
