A fairly small area of thunderstorms moved across Wapello County during the early morning hours of the 6th. Though there was no severe weather associated with the storms, rainfall of 1 to 2 inches in under two hours time did produce urban flooding in the area as soil was nearly saturated before the rain fell. Isolated reports of up to 4 inches in three hours time were received as well. The storms did produce some minor urban and small stream flooding in the Warren, Marion, and Mahaska County
