Synoptic and Mesoscale conditions for August 6th...The same storm system which had plagued parts of eastern Indiana the night before with very heavy rain shifted its focus into northwest Ohio the night of August 5. A warm top heavy rain event developed late in the afternoon of the 5th as thunderstorms developed along a warm front which stretched from the surface low now in western Illinois into northwest Ohio.
