1-2" of rain fell from thunderstorms and caused extensive flooding in eastern Washington county. The Zion Lodge had to be evacuated as the road leading to it collapsed due to an intense flood surge. Flood waters also destroyed a home in Springdale, filled basements in Rockville and forced numerous other road closures.
