An ice jam developed on the Saint John River...near Saint Francis...during the morning of the 18th. River levels rose through the 18th...with flooding developing that evening. Route 161 was closed at the Allagash and Saint Francis town line during the evening of the 18th due to flooding. A truck stalled while attempting to drive through the flood waters and had to be pulled from the flood waters.
