The Navidad River began flooding just before midnight Thursday night and continued through the afternoon on Saturday. Major flooding was reported along the river, although no homes were actually flooded. The river gauge at Highway 90A crested at 30.30', very near the 30.83' of the October 18, 1994, that did flood several homes downstream.
