The Mississippi River was above flood stage at the Thebes gage for most of the month. The flooding was minor to moderate, confined to unprotected bottomlands and adjacent access roads. The first crest of 37.0 feet occurred on the 10th, with a second crest of 33.7 feet on the 28th. Flood stage is 33 feet.
