Numerous thunderstorms occurred across portions of Bryan and Atoka Counties during the early morning of the 3rd. In addition to large hail, between 4 and 5 inches of rain fell across western Bryan County. Two homes in Durant and a nursing home in Colbert were flooded. The southbound lane of Highway 69/75 between the Choctaw Travel Plaza and Calera was also closed due to high water.
