Powerful afternoon thunderstorms produced winds that fell ten inch tree limbs and dumped torrential rains as they moved east from the Franklin area to Hebron. Rain amounts of 1 to 2 inches in 20 minutes were common. U.S. Highway 136 was closed for a couple of hours near Inavale due to water running over the road.
