Thunderstorms dumped 1 to 3 inches of rain on soils already saturated from recent heavy rain. In Adams (Mower County), water was up to the doors of businesses as residents sandbagged. Highway 63 near Spring Valley (Fillmore County) was covered with up to a foot of water, while flooding was also reported at a campground in Forestville State Park near Preston (Fillmore County).
