An area of moderate to heavy rain with isolated thunderstorms moved through Delaware during the first half of the day on the 20th. One to two inches of rain fell throughout the state with the most widespread heavier amounts in New Castle County. In New Castle County, this led to poor drainage as well as isolated river flooding.
