Localized heavy rainfall of four to six inches in less than three hours caused urban and small stream flooding along and east of Interstate 75 corridor from Port Charlotte in Charlotte County south to Lehigh Acres in Lee County. Four piglets were drowned by floodwaters in North Fort Myers and several vehicles incurred water damage in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.
