Flash flooding was reported at many locations within the Grand Junction metropolitan area, including Clifton and Redlands. Water up to 2 feet deep was running down some streets. Doppler radar indicated about an inch of rain fell over the area primarily within a half hour. The high water produced minor damage to some vehicles and residences.
