A very warm and moist airmass was in place across the region when a cold front moved into the area from the north on May 30th. The frontal boundary stalled over the area with a wave of low pressure moving along the front on May 31st. Multiple rounds of rainfall occurred on May 30 and 31, eventually leading to flooding in Crawford County.
