A nearly stationary frontal boundary and a low pressure system moving along it combined to develop thunderstorms that produced isolated damaging wind gusts as well as flash flooding in northern Delaware. Around three inches of rain fell in locations that experienced multiple thunderstorms in the northern part of the state, mainly in New Castle County.
