Another active weather pattern returned to northern and central New Mexico after a prolonged break in the more widespread shower and thunderstorm activity during early July. Heavy rainfall impacted the Jemez and southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains where amounts between 1 and nearly 3 inches were reported from around Los Alamos to Gascon.
