Scattered thunderstorms developed across portions of eastern Riverside county during the late morning hours on July 18th and they continued into the afternoon. Due to an infusion of tropical moisture from former hurricane Dolores, some of the storms produced torrential rainfall which led to episodes of flash flooding. One area hit hard by the flash flooding was Desert Center and nearby roads such as Kaiser Road which runs up to Eagle Mountain, and highway 177. Flash flood warnings were issued fo
