A weak stationary boundary over far northeast New Mexico produced thunderstorms with heavy rain and large hail. Half dollar size hail was reported from one severe storm in Folsom and another storm over the Capulin National Monument. Radar estimated between 2 to 4 inches of rain were common in northern Union county, causing a rise in the Dry Cimarron River above action stage at Kenton, OK.
