Isolated thunderstorms in association with a weak upper level disturbance developed over portions of central and southwestern Nebraska during the late afternoon hours. Some storms were severe with hail up to the size of quarters and 60 MPH wind gusts. Heavy rain washed out county roads on the Garfield Table area.
