Thunderstorms erupted within a moist atmosphere in place over Sublette and Sweetwater counties. The result was heavy rain and eventually flash flooding in the city of Rock Springs in Sweetwater County. Rainfall of approximately 0.60 to 0.85 inches fell in and around downtown Rock Springs in about 30 minutes. The result was street flooding and accumulating water in one trailer park on the east side of town.
