Thunderstorms developed during the early afternoon hours of June 26th along a weak surface trough of low pressure that stretched across eastern Oklahoma. The storms moved east during the afternoon, producing damaging wind across portions of west central Arkansas. Flash flooding resulted from the storms in portions of northwestern Arkansas.
