Previous thunderstorms that moved across western Wisconsin during the morning hours of Wednesday, September 2nd, provided a boundary that fired off additional thunderstorms in west central Wisconsin during the early afternoon. These storms continued to develop in a small area that reformed west of Ridgeland in far northwest Dunn County, and drifted east-southeast across northern Dunn and western Chippewa Counties.
