A slow moving cold front led to the development of a line of showers and thunderstorms across the area during the afternoon and evening of July, 6th, 2015. Wet microbursts along the slow moving line led to damaging winds of 70-80 mph across portions of South Central Kansas. Also the slow moving storms led to torrential downpours across portions of the Wichita metro area.
