A stationary front provided the focus for concentrated thunderstorms across the Northern Tier counties in Pennsylvania. Rainfall estimates of 2 to 3 inches fell in a very short period of time, causing localized flash flooding in the area. Estimated damages to roads and other public and private infrastructure was estimated at 3 million dollars.
