A weak but persistent upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. and ample tropical moisture combined to produce multiple rounds of thunderstorms over North Georgia the evening of the 10th. A thunderstorm with very heavy rain produced some isolated flash flooding in southwest DeKalb County.
