A combination of persistent and strong east/northeast winds, the perigean spring tide and a full moon produced 2 days of elevated high tide cycles along the southeast Georgia coast. Major coastal flood stage levels were recorded at the Fort Pulaski, GA (FPKG1) tide gauge on Oct 27, 2015, which claimed 3rd place on the all-time historic crest list.
