An upper level trough of low pressure, located over the Nebraska Panhandle migrated east during the late afternoon hours of May 9th. As this feature approached a surface trough of low pressure, thunderstorms developed and quickly became severe. Impacts included heavy rain, hail up to baseball size, heavy rain and a wall cloud report.
