Moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Bonnie moved northward into the region and interacted with a frontal boundary over the region. This resulted in several rounds of heavy rain on the night of the 29th and the early morning of the 30th. Rainfall totals ranged from 4.52 inches in Hamilton Twp, Mercer County to 3.50 inches at a fire station in Westampton twp. Other totals inlcude 2.81 inches at the Cherry Hill Mall and 1.12 in Martinsville.
