Rains of 1.5 to 2 inches fell over portions of Meigs County during a 24 hour period from the 13th into the 14th. The ground was already wet from previous rains. Minor small stream overflow occurred late on the 13th. The Shade River near Chester crested around 17.5 feet during the late afternoon and evening. Bankfull is around 17 feet.
