Heavy spring rain, coupled with snow melt from the Rockies, led to high river flows along the South Platte, North Platte, and main stem Platte rivers during the second half of May. Minor to moderate flooding occurred at Lisco, Lewellen and North Platte along the North Platte river, while minor flooding occurred near Brady along the main stem Platte River.
