As Tropical Storm Colin moved from the northeast Gulf of Mexico to the far eastern Florida panhandle, outer rainbands impacted portions of east-central Florida with gusty winds and periods of heavy rain. While sustained winds remained below tropical storm force, gusts in heavy squalls did reach tropical storm force, mainly across Lake, Volusia and coastal Brevard Counties.
