Tropical Storm Darby affected the island chain with high surf, gusty winds, and heavy downpours; from the Big Island to Kauai. Some of the precipitation resulted in flash flooding. There were power outages, and downed trees and power poles in parts of the Big Island and Oahu. However, there were no reports of significant injuries.
