Slow moving thunderstorms over south central Ashe County produced radar-estimated rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches in a few hours. Flooding was reported along portions of Call Creek which rose over 8 feet according to NC DOT sources, with a bridge flooded and a home affected as well.
