Along and north of a slow moving warm front, storms continued to regenerate and train over portions of north central and northeast Illinois, generally along and near the I-88 and U.S. Highway 30 corridors. The environment was favorable for locally heavy rainfall with any storms and giving the training and slow movement, isolated flooding occurred, including flash flooding in Lee County along U.S. Highway 30. A flash flood warning was in effect.
