A slow moving cold front across northwest Louisiana encountered a moderately unstable airmass and a moist airmass with the result being slow moving thunderstorms. These thunderstorms produced excessive heavy rainfall amounts, especially across Webster Parish. Flash flooding was reported in the town of Minden, Louisiana.
