Repeated rounds of thunderstorms with heavy rains moved across portions of southwest Wisconsin during the evening of August 23rd into the early morning hours of the 24th. This heavy rain produced flash flooding across portions of Crawford and Richland Counties. One person had to be rescued near Steuben (Crawford County) when the person attempted to drive through flood waters and the vehicle was swept off the road.
