Tropical Storm Julia developed offshore of the Florida Atlantic coast and tracked northward over the local coastal counties Tue Sept. 13th through Wed. Sept. 14th. Gusts to tropical storm force started to impact the local coast and coastal waters the evening of the 12th as the tropical wave that would become Julia moved northward over the Bahamas.
