Low pressure moving from Tennessee into western New York state lifted a warm front north through the state late Friday morning into early Friday afternoon on May 6, 2017. In advance of a cold front, which followed Friday evening, several rounds of heavy rainfall with embedded thunder traversed the state Friday morning into the afternoon.
