Flash Flood — Marion, OH

A frontal boundary moved into north central Ohio in the early morning hours of the 5th. As an upstream upper-level trough approached the region, a cluster of thunderstorms developed within a moderately moist airmass to the south of the boundary. These conditions allowed some thunderstorms to produce very intense rainfall rates at times.
