A frontal boundary sagged into northeastern Oklahoma early on the 20th and moved slowly into southeastern Oklahoma on the 21st. Several rounds of thunderstorms developed over the region along and north of the front. Areas of northeastern Oklahoma received between 2.5 and 6 inches of rain over the two-day period as a result of this widespread and repetitive thunderstorm activity.
