A weak frontal boundary moved into Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas from the north during the early morning hours of August 23rd. Upper level impulses in the northwest flow aloft interacted with ample low level moisture and forcing near the frontal boundary to produce showers and thunderstorms over much of Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas.
