Flash Flood — Cayuga, NY

Warm and humid air was in place across the region as a slow moving frontal system drifted into central New York. An upper level disturbance passed over the frontal boundary during the afternoon, triggering numerous torrential rain producing thunderstorms. Flash flooding developed in several areas, including the larger populated area of Greater Binghamton.
