After a warm front brought soaking rains to the region, a cold front brought additional rain. The heavy precipitation fell on already saturated ground resulting in both area and river flooding. Rainfall amounts of three to four inches were reported. Roads were flooded and closed in Akron, Rapids, Wolcottsville, Rochester, Athol Springs, Warsaw, Brighton, Cassadaga, and Macedon.
