Flash Flood — Sharkey, MS

A cold front stalled across the western portions of the ArkLaMiss region. Ahead of this, a few storms produced hail and damaging winds. As the front remained stalled, several disturbances moved along it and brought heavy rainfall to the region. This prolonged period of rain resulted in flash flooding across mainly the Delta.

Multiple rounds of storms evolved over the region starting late on the 14th and lasted through the 15th. This produced several areas of heavy rainfall across the forecast area.
