Minor flooding occurred along the Green River into mid April. Even though rainfall was pretty close to normal in April, the excessive rainfall in March primed the ground for more flooding in April. The flooding impacted mainly agricultural low-lying areas, which resulted in a delay in the planting of spring crops. Corn is normally planted by mid May.
