Low pressure moved northeast across northwest Ohio during the overnight hours of the 15th into the 16th. Locally heavy rainfall fell across eastern Ohio with amounts of one to two inches, with amounts over three inches in Cuyahoga County. The heavy rain over the urbanized drainage basin in Cuyahoga County resulted in urban flooding, notably in the Cleveland Heights area as well as areas in and around Akron.
