After one of the wettest May's on record, above normal rainfall continued in June. Some rivers reached minor flood stage. The Yahara chain of lakes and surrounding marshland reached very high levels. Lake Kegonsa set a new high water record. Mitigation was needed to protect property for homes on the northeast side of Lake Kegonsa and a few homes on Lake Waubesa near Goodland Park.
