Isolated to scattered thunderstorms developed across the northwest portion of Maricopa County during the evening hours on July 11th; the stronger storms produced locally heavy rainfall which led to episodes of flash flooding. During the early evening hours, flash flooding occurred just southeast of the town of Wickenburg; significant flooding of streets and washes was reported by local emergency managers.
