A back door cold front that shifted southwest through eastern New Mexico on the 25th provided a reinforcing blast of low level moisture for the Rio Grande Valley on the 26th. A complex of thunderstorms that developed to the northwest of the Albuquerque metro area during the evening hours interacted with outflow boundaries surging southwest from the Santa Fe metro area.
